						Ash Wednesday Service
						Join us on Wednesday, February 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the North Church sanctuary as we begin our Lenten journey this year with the Imposition of Ashes. This ancient custom has become an important observance for our congregation as together we bring ourselves into a time of introspection and prayerful discernment.
						Lenten Bible Study/Brown Bag Lunch
						As we move into the season of Lent, we invite you to join us for a series of Lenten Bible studies which will begin Wednesday February 29 in the office conference room and conclude just before Holy Week. Bring a brown bag lunch and join us at 12 noon each Wednesday, or better yet, come at 10:30 for prayer group as well!
						Ecclesia Ministries and Hope Center
						Our Associate Pastor, the Rev. Steve Ruelke will be joining us for worship on Sunday February 12 to share with us a new vision for the work of Ecclesia Ministries in Newburgh called "Hope Center," a new gathering center--a sort of "urban abbey" where people come together to find new beginnings, new connections and new opportunities. Come hear about this exciting new work and find out how you can help!

Our Global Mission Project

The Mt. Selinde Home in Zimbabwe, Africa has been designated as our Global Mission Project. We are now sponsoring two children to help with the enrichment of their lives. We would like to do more! If you would like to donate to this project you can mail a check to North Congregational United Church of Christ 157 Linden Ave., Middletown, NY 10940, or visit us on Sunday mornings for our worship service and designate the check for the Mt. Selinde Home.

The Crochet/Knitting Group

The Crochet and Knitting meets regularly and welcomes both beginners and experienced people to join the group. Those with experience can bring their own project to work on, or can make a prayer shawl, lap robe, or a baby blanket. Call the church office at 845-343-6688 for time and location.
