Connect

We believe that God never intended that we go it alone. Instead, He designed us to experience life together. We need one another. It is when we are with one another that we experience God, and our lives are transformed over time into fully devoted followers of Christ.

North Church has many groups for you to experience the joy of being together. In these groups, people share, connect, pray, and study scripture in interesting ways, and we join together in helping others. These relationships bring God’s love into our lives and we are never the same.

We invite you to begin your spiritual journey by coming to one of the small groups at North Church.

Here are some of our small groups you might find interesting:

God Talk: This fellowship and discussion group meets in the Pastor's study each each Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. for a lively discussion.  Sometimes we follow the lectionary readings for the following Sunday, and sometimes we study a particular book of the Bible.  It is always a lively discussion and a safe place to ask questions.  We are on hiatus for July and August but will resume in September.

Thrift Shop: If you really would like to serve the community and work with other Christians, come to work in our thrift shop every week or once in a while. Volunteers sort donations on Monday mornings and volunteers are needed in the shop during the sales hours of Monday 6-8 PM and Thursday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Morning Prayer Group: Rev. David leads this group in meditation and prayer.  They meet in the church conference room year-round Wednesdays at 10:30 AM.

Adult Faith Development: Occasionally on Sunday after worship from 11:45-12:30, our adult education group studies our faith in a variety of formats and topics. It is a great place for spiritual growth.  The next Study will happen in September.

You can find out more about any of these groups through the church office or by talking with Rev. David.

Membership

Membership at North Church is open to all who wish to join us on this journey and anyone. We offer baptism for those who have not taken that step. Rev. David and Deacons are happy to answer any questions about church membership..
